When it comes to glassmaking, it could be said that the Lusatian Mountains are perhaps better known for it in the world than at home. The glassmaking craft, typical of this region, found its home in these mountains as one of the first crafts. Its more than 700-year history can be felt at every turn. A moderately demanding cycle tour takes the visitor from the glass city of Nový Bor through the smaller glassworks. This is just a small taste of what there is to discover in the Lusatian Mountains and their surroundings.
