Česká Kamenice will enchant you with its well-preserved historical centre as well as its location in the countryside on the border of three protected landscape areas – the Bohemian Central Highlands, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, and the Lusatian Mountains. Whichever way you go, you cannot go wrong. The tour of the town itself, with the Church of St. James the Elder, the castle, the castle brewery, and especially the Pilgrimage Chapel of the Virgin Mary with the statue of the Virgin Mary, to whom miraculous powers are attributed, constitutes a very pleasant afternoon.
