Thanks to the initiative of the Mountain Association for Northernmost Bohemia, trails were modified, shelters, lookout towers, and other points of interest were built, and guides and maps of the region were published as early as the end of the 19th century. Nowadays, we can only marvel at the enthusiasm for the development of tourism in the Lusatian Mountains.
